1981 Hamilton Artists Inc.

The following  gallery is of my first solo exhibition at the Hamilton Artists Inc., 143 1/2 James St. N. Hamilton , curated by Gordon T. White,  in July 1981.  Yes, we used the Inc’s back door as the official entrance.  The exhibition opened on what turned to be the hottest day of that summer but was very well attended with the crowd spilling out onto James Street with their wine and eventually getting harassed and fined by the local police.  My pieces were inspired by news stories of that time and by summer holidays up north.
